Woodland Metafari
Organisational life is increasingly pressured and fast-paced, often racing to adapt to change, both planned and unplanned.
Research has demonstrated that even the best change plans need spaces and opportunities for the human systems to adjust, adapt and reconfigure. A space where teams can explore, reflect and connect together on what is happening in their organisational world. A space focussed on transformation, possibilities and experience, with no demand for immediate outcomes and action plans.
A retreat, a sanctuary, an oasis of calm amongst the day-to-day hurly-burly of organisational life.
-
A woodland metafari is a purposeful walk round a beautiful woodland. Along the walk we stop to hear about features of the wood and how the owner works with the woodland ecology. Using this as a metaphor, questions are asked that stimulate thought about the organisation.
A woodland meditation takes place before the work to help the group slow down, relax and align with nature. While a co-created story enhances collective reflection on the event.
-
A woodland metafari offers a team a space to breath, a space to reflect and connect.
It can help with the challenges of organisational change and team development. It offers a space to think differently, think more widely, and think more connectedly than is often possible in fast-paced, demanding environments.
-
The woodland metafari event is for any team of people up to a maximum of 12 people.
Any team, from front line staff to senior executives, who might benefit from a chance to slow down and think together, would find this experience valuable.
