Our approach is based on understanding people: we can work with any organisation to develop leadership and vision, work performance and engagement, and a positive work culture. We specialise in working with change.
Founder and Principal Psychologist
'I facilitate change and have done all my adult life, first as a social worker, then as a manager and for 20 years as a consultant. I facilitate change in people, teams and organizations. I do this through direct interventions, such as coaching, team or organisational development activity, and through education or knowledge sharing, such as through books, lectures and workshops. Helping people change their work lives or organisations for the better is what I do.
I approach change as a psychological process. I draw specifically on appreciative, positive and strengths-based approaches as I consistently find them to produce excellent results and to be inspiring, engaging and productive for people involved.
To achieve change I work with relationships, patterns, meaning, connection, aspiration, resources and emotions.
I work through the processes of story and dialogue, decision and action, understanding and behaviour and hopes and plans.
I draw on co-creative methodologies such as Appreciative Inquiry, World Café, and Open Space, blended with positive (and more ‘traditional’) psychological knowledge and a wealth of experience of working with people as a social worker, manager and leader, educator , psychologist and consultant.
My goal at the moment is to travel the world creating value by applying the power of positive psychology and Appreciative Inquiry to workplace challenges, and developing others to do so.'

I specialises in developing and guiding transformational, whole-system change and service-wide improvement and capacity development. I have successfully delivered a diverse portfolio of assignments with leadership teams and boards, guiding them to create new visions and missions. I am adept at facilitating large-scale conversations, using innovative approaches, working to tight deadlines and delivering within budget.
My approach is appreciative, strengths-focused, engaging and highly pro-active, using my specialist expertise and knowledge to enable clients to achieve their goals.'

'I am a positive change engine – I help individuals, groups and organisations ‘get in gear’ (or shift to a higher gear...) for positive change. I do so through flexible, creative and practical use of strength-based approaches to change. I support business leaders and teams in creating inspiring visions for better futures and in finding ways forward. I ignite different conversations to help individuals and groups think differently by asking unique questions and unlock the “space of possibilities” – no matter how difficult a situation may seem. I use several different approaches to facilitation depending on clients’ situations and needs.
I have a track record of designing and leading successful change interventions and training programmes particularly in the areas of strategic planning, process/efficiency improvement, team building, leadership development, stakeholder engagement and compliance.
I also created a unique strength-based approach to Lean Thinking and Six Sigma. This approach combines the rigour of Lean Six Sigma with the energy and creativity of Appreciative Inquiry and creates a significantly greater engagement with efforts to improve business and organisational processes. 'Using strengths-based approaches and facilitation skills, I help teams and organisations create a space where participants shape the future that they would like to see evolve. Over the last 15 years, in my work as a consultant and trainer (public, private and non- governmental), I have supported customers with strategic planning, leadership development, team building and organizational development. In addition, I teach Appreciative Inquiry and Applied Positive Psychology at University level in Norway.
